Interesting to see how 'universal' some questions are through time, and how different cultures react to these questions.
It was nice to see an exposition that is not only focused on art or 'high culture' but was a little more relaxed. The mixed themes and subjects made the expo more interesting to me.
Movie: Minari ^

Beautiful movie about a Korean-American family who moves to an Arkansas farm in search of its American dream. The film makes you think about what makes a home and gives you an insight into chasing the American dream.

Museum: De Pont ^
I found this museum to be a bit disappointing. Maybe it was timing, maybe not, but the art pieces didn't surprise nor inspire me - exceptions leaving out.
Maybe better luck next time!

Expo - Ijsselbiënnale Ronald A. Westerhuis. ^
I really liked the work of Westerhuis, was cool to see that the sculptures were changing through rain and the weather. Inside these big 'bowls' were different amounts of rusty water. The thing I liked the most was the sound the bowls made when you touched them. Another factor I liked was the size of the sculptures and how they looked in the scenery.

Performance - Witte wieven
EM2, Troep Troup Tribe, Suikerevents
Participated in a performance walk around 'Witte Wieven'. These (mostly) women are mystical, witch-like creatures. Susanne Luurs and I held a performance around a funeral for trees.

Museum - Fries museum ^
I really liked this museum. Interesting artists (such as seen above, Taus Makhacheva), a lot of variation in art pieces and presentation.
Would recommend and visit again.

The quality of this dance was so high. Really good dancers and loved the soundscapes/music (also great that the dancers used their bodies and the hanging boxes as an instrument).

Temporary Museum - Uncloud - transliminal (Utrecht)
This was extremely impressive. The artists were in residency for 9 months in the former closed facility, and you could really feel that they captured the vibe of that place.
